Keila Wakao, violinist, is Impromptu’s 2024 “Rising Star”. In 2021, Keila was awarded the first prize and the Junior Composer award at the Menuhin International Violin Competition and first prize at the Stulberg International String Competition. At age nine, Keila gave her first solo performance with an orchestra and has continued to perform throughout the United States, Japan, Germany, Singapore and the United Kingdom.
