Pianist Jiayin Shen and Michael Berkovsky have been collaborating since 2004 playing 4 hands piano repertoire at both large and private venues throughout the US and Canada. The duo will play concerts in China during the summer of 2013.

The Alexander String Quartet has performed on five continents, securing standing among the world's premiere ensembles for over three decades. They were the first American quartet to win the London International String Quartet Prize. The New York Times described their playing as, "vibrant, probing, assured."

This year's Rising Star took top honors in the senior division of the 15th Sphinx Competition in 2012 as well as the Audience Choice Award. As soloist he has played with the New York Philharmonic, the Chicago Symphony and the New World Symphony among others. His debut with the Cleveland Orchestra was described as, "remarkably poised and elegant."
